For Cindy Spier, poker has never been just about the cards — it’s a journey of grit, growth, and ambition. As a proud Jakacoaching member, she’s turned her passion into results, and her recent achievements prove it.
A Steady Climb, Built on Heart and Strategy
Cindy’s poker path is defined by steady progress and smart preparation. She doesn’t chase glory through luck. Instead, she studies her opponents, refines her game, and leans on Jakacoaching’s structured training.
In 2022, she finished 3rd in the WSOP Circuit Main Event at Turning Stone, winning $137,178. That result showed how far her strategy and focus could carry her.
Breaking Through in L.A.: Her Second WSOP Circuit Ring
Fast forward to May 2025 at Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, during the WSOP Circuit series that featured 18 ring events and more than $3.5M in guarantees. Cindy entered Event #7: a $400 No-Limit Hold’em, and outlasted a tough field.
At the final table, she leaned into her training — particularly her work with Jakacoaching’s ICM and Final Table content. Her smart decisions, calm under pressure, and precise reads allowed her to clinch her second WSOP Circuit ring, taking home $30,449.
This win wasn’t just about the money or the ring — it was another affirmation that Cindy’s disciplined, study-first approach works when it matters most.
Not Just One, But Two Big Wins: Montreal’s Mega Stack Final Table
But Cindy’s 2025 story doesn’t stop in L.A. She carried her momentum north to Playground Poker in Montreal for the $5K Mega Stack, and made another final table. There, she battled deep, stayed level-headed, and secured a 6th place finish, adding $33,030 to her earnings.
Two big scores in high‑pressure live events — one WSOP ring, one deep run in a major live tournament. It’s a reflection of Cindy’s consistency and rising star power.
The Role of Jakacoaching

Behind Cindy’s accomplishments is a support system that believes in learning, not luck. At Jakacoaching, she’s sharpened her skills by working through hand histories, studying ICM theory, and tapping into elite coaching — especially the ICM Postflop Play with Sylvain Loosli and the Final Table ICM Strategy video series with Faraz Jaka and Sylvain Loosli.
Cindy often credits these resources for her composure in final-table spots. She says they helped her stay focused, pick the right spots, and make optimal decisions when it counted most.
